  • Wells SU109 : Standard Motors Products (SMP) TX3
  • Pigtail Pico 5615pt
3/8" NPT threaded brass body and a 2 pin terminal. <link to Race Capture analog channel configuration> Can be used for air inlet temperature for normally aspirated engines

  • Wells SU107 : Standard Motors Products (SMP) AX1
  • Pigtail Pico 5616pt
3/8" NPT threaded brass body and a 2 pin terminal. <link to Race Capture analog channel configuration> Use for measuring air inlet temperature. Exposed sensing element, necessary for boosted engines where fast response times are necessary. Due to the fragility of the sensing bulb, it is necessary to pot the base of the sensor leads with sensor-safe silicone when used in high vibration environments.

Pressure Sensors

Fluid Pressure

Brake pressure sensors will be used to capture inline brake fluid pressure. Combining this input with brake pedal travel can provide a way to show brake fade in real time.

To measure suspension travel, install a unit at each corner of car, targeting the road surface. May also be used for pedal travel as well, providing there is a target to sense

Angle Sensors

Steering Angle

To measure suspension travel, install a unit at each corner of car, targeting the road surface. May also be used for pedal travel as well, providing there is a target to sense. Create a target latched to the steering rod and use the travel out and back of the steering rack rod to denote the travel left and right for steering. This measures true steering(and ignores the speed sensitivity of steering systems, showing actual tire angle result, not steering wheel rotation). It also provides a quick way to verify alignment issues as location vs. gps/accelerometer travel in the "Straight ahead" direction will be at varying angles when alignment issues are present.

Sensor Breakout Board

We've created an optional sensor breakout / distribution board that will make it easier to use sensors that require pullup resistors as well as making available multiple ground and 5V Vref connections. The built-in pullup resistors are easily disabled by breaking a designated trace on the board. This board is compact; enough to be bundled inline with your wiring harness. SensorX board.png
