User talk:Bob Q
Good Morning:
This is an interesting product given it's price and applicabililty. I was discussing this with a friend and the following question arose. We race 4 cylinder paved oval track race cars, PRO-4's, and are developing a new racing engine. We were going to use the stock distributor with an MSD box. The stock distributor gives the ignition signal and the advance curve while MSD provides the high voltage spark. If we use your MJLJ unit without a TPS or MAP signal and don't use the MAP or TPS signal, will we get a spark and a default advance curve? Our racing is between 4,500 and 7500 rpm. My impression from what I am reading is if I provide the EDIS and obtain an MJLJ and program the advance with my laptop, I am good to go. Am I correct?
