The Megajolt2 Family
The Megajolt2/COP/D family represents the next generation ignition controller platform- succeeding the long running Megajolt Lite Jr. + Ford EDIS ignition system combination.
Philosophy
Rather than create one system to fit all applications, a common software architecture will be leveraged across different hardware platforms tailored to match specific usage models. This approach has the following benefits:
- Simplified hardware design
- Reduced cost and physical size
- Minimal to no hardware customization
Timeline
Beta testing is targeted for Summer/Fall 2009 with limited production by end of year.
Megajolt/2
