Tapping into PT-CAN bus

CAN is available on the Blue/Red and Red twisted pairs:

  • Blue/Red = CAN high
  • Red = CAN low

Tap into the PT CAN on the wire run from the FEM (Front Electronics Module) to Kombi (Instrument Cluster)

Tap into A173 on the FEM under the kick panel. PT-CAN can be accessed on any of the blue/red twisted pairs; present on the 2B, 7B, and 8B connectors.
